Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal data Pormenor processes through this website, for what purpose and what rights you have. It is a translation of the Portuguese version, which prevails in case of any discrepancy.

Data controller

Pormenor — Legalização e Documentação Automóvel, with its office at Rua José Ribeiro Vieira de Castro, 95, in Fafe, Portugal, is the controller of the data collected on this website. For any question about your data, contact us at geral@pormenor.pt.

What data we process

• Quote and contact requests: your name, the contact method you choose (mobile phone or email) and the information you give us about the vehicle or your situation.
• COC requests: in addition to the above, the make, model and chassis number (VIN) of the vehicle.
• Calculators: the vehicle details you enter are used only for the estimate or to fill in the quote request. We do not ask for personal data in the calculators.

We do not ask you for personal documents at first contact. If they are needed for the service, we will tell you later how to send them.

What we use the data for

• To reply to your request and prepare the quote;
• to provide the service you engage us for and meet the related legal obligations, including invoicing.

We process this data because you ask us for a reply or a quote (pre-contractual steps at your request) and, if you go ahead, to carry out the service and meet the legal obligations that come with it — article 6(1)(b) and (c) of the General Data Protection Regulation.

We do not use form data for marketing communications without your express consent.

How your request reaches us

When you send a request through the form, the data goes from the website to Pormenor’s email. The website hosting and the email service that make this delivery process the data only on Pormenor’s behalf and for that purpose.

If you prefer to send your request by WhatsApp, the website prepares the message and opens the app. The message is only sent when you confirm it, and it is then also subject to the terms of that service (WhatsApp, by Meta).

Google reviews

Some pages show public reviews of Pormenor on Google Maps, with the name and profile photo of the reviewer, as they appear on Google. We do not store these reviews: the website requests them from Google when it shows them. Profile photos are loaded directly from Google’s servers, which therefore receive the IP address of the visitor (without the page of origin). Google’s processing follows the Google privacy policy.

How long we keep it

We keep the data only for as long as needed to reply to the request and, if you go ahead, to provide the service and meet the applicable legal retention periods.

Your rights

You can ask for access to, rectification, erasure, restriction or portability of your data, and object to its processing, by writing to geral@pormenor.pt. You can also lodge a complaint with the Portuguese data protection authority, the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (www.cnpd.pt).

Cookies and analytics

This website does not use advertising cookies. The forms may temporarily keep what you typed in your browser (session storage), so you do not lose it if you go back; this information is deleted when you close the tab.

If audience measurement tools are enabled, this policy will be updated and your consent will be requested where the law requires it.
